Olufemi "Yasir" Yessoufou is a photographer, filmmaker, and aspiring creative director hailing from Benin, West Africa. Before discovering his passion for fashion, Olufemi created Youtube videos alongside his cousin in his hometown of Ellicott City, Maryland.
During his time at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, Olufemi secured positions working under the Art Directors of the Polo Ralph Lauren Brand and alongside the Digital Design team at Tory Burch.
Olufemi's upbringing has been incredibly diverse. Born in Belgium to immigrant parents, he spent his early years under the care of his grandmother in Benin. He then moved to the United States and grew up in Maryland. This nomadic lifestyle has only fueled Olufemi's curiosity and passion for Photo and film, especially in the fashion industry.
His dream is to become a creative director, driven by a consistent theme of community building and uniting individuals with shared interests in his various endeavors. Olufemi feels fortunate for the opportunities he has been given and is committed to paving the way for those who have similar aspirations.
